Hello everyone.

The full-blown summer heat of July has begun,

and I find myself sweating profusely even after just a short time outside.

On days like these, I just want to relax indoors

with the air conditioning on.

Even after the first anniversary of its expansion and relocation,

Smile Eye Clinic continues to work hard!

Today, all staff members at Smile Eye Clinic

received lens training.

We were trained on the Lara lens and Lisa tri lens from German company ZEISS.

Let me briefly tell you what these two lenses are and what functions they possess!

First, let me tell you about the ZEISS company.

The ZEISS headquarters is located

in Oberkochen, southwestern Germany.

Founded in 1846 and named after its founder Carl Zeiss,

the company is a global leader in the eyewear and lens industry,

producing various vision-related equipment such as camera lenses, binoculars, and intraocular lenses.

Those who have worn glasses or contact lenses might have heard of it.

Occasionally, you'll see banners in front of optical shops that say ‘ZEISS Lenses’,

and I've seen them myself.

First, let me introduce the Lara lens.

This is a newly launched presbyopia-correcting lens from ZEISS

that provides continuous focus

from intermediate to far distances.

It is considered a highly satisfying presbyopia-correcting lens

as it improves intermediate vision for daily activities like using computer monitors and watching TV.

Next, I'll introduce the Lisa tri lens.

The Lisa tri lens is a multifocal intraocular lens that treats both presbyopia and cataracts simultaneously.

While some people experience presbyopia and cataracts

separately,

others experience both conditions progressing together.

This intraocular lens offers triple focus for near, intermediate, and far distances, providing the advantage of clear vision at all ranges.

So, what do you think? We've taken some time to explore the differences

between the Lara lens and the Lisa tri lens.

Through this lens training, all staff members at Smile Eye Clinic

gained valuable and detailed knowledge.

It is advisable to consult with medical staff about the current condition of your eyes

and then choose the appropriate lens for surgery.

Today, I introduced two types of lenses. In the next post,

I will introduce various intraocular lenses available at Smile Eye Clinic.
