The visit of Domenic von planta, CEO of SCHWIND from Germany, to Gangnam Smile Eye Clinic!

SCHWIND is the company that developed ATOS, the equipment for New SMILE LASIK.

He visited to consult on Gangnam Smile Eye Clinic's medical technology and engage in in-depth discussions.

Gangnam Smile Eye Clinic was the first in Korea to introduce the ATOS equipment,

and has performed the most vision correction surgeries using this equipment for three consecutive years (2022, 2023, and as of October 2024) in Korea.

Furthermore, clinical results regarding the 99% target corrected vision of New SMILE LASIK using ATOS equipment were presented at the 2023 European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS),

and clinical results on astigmatism correction efficacy were also published in the 'Journal of Refractive Surgery (JRS)', one of the most authoritative international academic journals in ophthalmology,

demonstrating our recognized expertise in clinical practice and research.

In particular, CEO Domenic von planta

showed great interest in our clinic's open operating room system🧐
