🤔 Model's Concerns

‘I don't like my nostrils flaring, and from the side, my hump nose bothered me. I wanted a natural correction that wasn't obvious.’

The model desired a natural straight-to-upturned line that wasn't obvious, and particularly emphasized ‘naturalness’, so a non-implant correction method was planned.

During the design process, there was a slight deviation of the hump on the nasal bridge to the left. Also, when the base of the nasal bridge (the hump) was shaved, the side wall of the hump nose appeared wide when viewed at 45 degrees. Therefore, a plan was made to reduce the area of the base through osteotomy simultaneously with crooked nose correction, raise the nasal tip to match the hump line, and fill in any depressed areas on the nasal bridge using autologous tissue.

This method, which refines the patient's own structure without implants (non-implant rhinoplasty), offers high satisfaction in terms of maintaining a natural line and feel.

​🕐 Surgical Progress

On day 2, the patient visits for removal of gauze & cotton from inside the nose and simple treatment (disinfection, ointment).

On day 7, the splint and columella stitches are removed.

During weeks 1-2, significant swelling and bruising may occur, making this a crucial recovery stage.

At one month, makeup is possible, and the natural line begins to emerge.
