An San, a former national archery team member, visited Gangnam Smile Eye Clinic again.
Athlete An San underwent vision correction surgery at Gangnam Smile Eye Clinic,
and with her clearer vision after the correction, she won gold medals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. :)
Even now, it was a truly amazing and proud moment.
During this visit, An San underwent a comprehensive eye examination and consultation with the director
to check her current eye condition.
The result?
An San's vision was well-maintained without any changes since the surgery,
and her retina and optic nerve were also in very healthy condition.
An San mentioned that, contrary to her worries after the surgery, her vision had improved significantly,
and it was much more comfortable not having to wear glasses on rainy days.
She said, ‘There are many athletes who shoot with lenses or glasses,
and many student athletes can't undergo vision correction surgery due to concerns about the time and cost involved.
However, I feel great comfort and convenience after the surgery,
so I would like to recommend it to many athletes.’
After the examination, consultation with the director, and an interview, a small autograph session was held, and a rolling paper with messages of support from the staff was presented to An San. Although it was a short time,
we spent meaningful moments with An San.
