3-Month Review

It has already been three months since my surgery at Next Plastic Surgery.

I have never written a review for any other procedure or surgery, except for those participating in review-writing events. However, my personal satisfaction with this surgery is so high that I wanted to briefly share my experience, from the initial consultation to the current progress.

Since it was a surgery involving breast implants, I spent a very long time contemplating it. I first visited Next Plastic Surgery based on a friend's recommendation.

As it was my first consultation, I had planned to consult with other hospitals slowly before making a decision.

However, thanks to the detailed consultations with the consultation manager and Director Lee Jae-soo, I immediately booked my surgery date that very day.

The reason I felt confident that no additional consultations or visits to other hospitals were necessary was:

  • They did not force or recommend expensive, high-end implants. Instead, they recommended implants suitable for my breasts and body type.
  • I had heard that in other hospitals, the director consulting often seemed eager to leave or pretended to be extremely busy. However, Director Lee personally explained the pros and cons of each implant in detail, and even explained potential side effects so thoroughly that I wondered why he was being so meticulous. It felt like a professor tutoring a favorite student, giving an incredibly focused consultation.
  • The single director performs only three surgeries a day.
  • Post-operative care is also handled directly by the director. Every time I visited after surgery, the director personally treated and examined everything. There was no perfunctory post-operative care.
  • Most importantly, the consultation alone lasted three hours, and he maintained a consistent attitude from beginning to end, without showing any signs of annoyance.

My concerns about implant size were significant even on the day of the surgery, so before entering the operating room,

I had my size measured again and consulted with the director about the size once more before proceeding.

The surgery itself was incredibly quick.

I don't remember anything from the moment I thought, ‘So this is what anesthesia feels like,’

and when I came to, I was already in the recovery room.

The surgery was performed via an axillary incision.

The day of the surgery was truly painful. Amidst the pain, I was thirsty and hungry, but couldn't eat much, which made me feel both sore and sad.ㅠㅠ

The drain was also very bothersome, so I couldn't sleep properly on the day of the surgery,

My condition and mood were both poor, making it an even more painful memory.

On the second day after surgery, the drain was removed. For up to a month, I moved very gently and carefully, like a baby.

I absolutely avoided raising my arms, asked friends to open car doors for me, and was very cautious over speed bumps in the car.

I was completely stressed and anxious, worried that my implanted breasts might be stressed.

I adhered strictly to all precautions given by the hospital and made sure not to overexert myself in daily life, maintaining my condition.

I usually sleep on my stomach, but for a whole month, I slept on my back in a straight posture.

My friend, who lives with me, found it hilarious that I was sleeping at attention, lol.

I put in so much effort.

From the two-month mark, the shape and feel of my breasts noticeably improved every day, becoming more satisfying.

My life, my condition, and the shape of my breasts all gradually recovered and became more natural. From the two-month mark, I could even raise my arms,

and I felt grateful for being able to live life with the ability to raise my arms.

From this point, I also resumed exercising, which I had paused.

During my second follow-up check, Director Lee Jae-soo mentioned that the surgical scars were healing inconspicuously,

and that with a little more time, the scars would likely become unnoticeable.

After hearing this, the scars faded faster and faster, and perhaps because I was in a good mood, my recovery speed accelerated.

Up to two months post-surgery, the shape was somewhat unnatural, and my activities were restricted,

which made me feel frustrated and depressed. However, as time passed, the shape became more natural, especially from two and a half months when I suddenly felt my breasts becoming softer and softer every day. I experienced a kind of perverse happiness touching my own breasts daily.

Knowing that they will become even more natural over time, I am even more excited for the future.

Now, I am happy.
