Rhinoplasty with Hiko Thread Removal!
A case study of a patient in her 20s who achieved a refined nose profile through filler/thread removal, bulbous nose correction, and columella adjustment.
* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Low bridge and bulbous nose tip.
# Previously received filler and Hiko thread lifts but was unsatisfied with the results!
* Consultation
# The patient visited us because she was unhappy with the results of her previous filler and Hiko thread procedures.
# Hiko thread lifts have significant limitations in making the nose tip slim and high. Consequently, many patients seek surgical options when they remain unsatisfied after the procedure.
# She also requested bulbous nose correction. While a ‘blunt’ nose was traditionally thought to bring good fortune, many people now seek improvement because it can look heavy or undefined. Additionally, her columella was retracted, giving a somewhat ‘stuffy’ appearance. We decided to perform columella lengthening (columella pull-out) to create an ideal nasolabial angle.

# Before surgery, the nose tip was drooping and the columella appeared retracted. By using the nasal septum and donated rib cartilage to pull out the columella, the nasolabial angle was restored. The line connecting the nose to the philtrum has become much more sophisticated and beautiful.
