Lower Blepharoplasty
A woman in her 50s with moderate under-eye fat puffiness and mild skin laxity undergoes lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning and skin excision for smoother, more youthful under-eyes.

* Basic Information
· Female in her 50s
· Under-eye fat: Moderate puffiness
· Skin condition: Mild skin laxity / Skin thickness and elasticity are adequate
· Chief concern: 'The under-eye fat makes me look tired and older.'
* Consultation
· This patient is a woman in her 50s whose main concerns are puffiness from under-eye fat and skin sagging.
· We will achieve smooth under-eyes through fat repositioning and excision of the sagging skin.
· Since her skin elasticity is relatively good, the risk of ectropion (lower eyelid eversion) should be low. That said, overly aggressive skin excision must absolutely be avoided.
· You seem quite worried about scarring. Because the incision is made just beneath the lower lash line, it will look like a natural crease — no need to worry too much!
* Plan
Lower Blepharoplasty

* Post-operative Progress
· Fat repositioning has resolved the puffiness, leaving smooth, clean under-eyes.
