The Principle of LipoSound
# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Since it liquefies fat particles—turning them from something like orange pulp into juice—it offers several benefits:
1. It is much smoother. Fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned through a very small cannula. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling, and significantly less ‘Bio-bond’ (post-surgical adhesions).
2. Because ultrasound is applied beneath the dermis, there is less sagging after the procedure, and you can achieve additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.
# You may experience some discomfort starting about two weeks after surgery as Bio-bonds form. During this time, applying warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. We also provide softening injections during the one-month follow-up if needed.
