Non-Incision Eye Correction

A woman in her 20s with mild ptosis and 2–3 mm skin droop achieved a softer, more defined look through non-incision eye correction alone, confirmed at her 6-week follow-up.

Non-Incision Eye Correction

* Basic Information

Woman in her 20s

Eye-opening strength: slightly weak — tends to raise her eyebrows to open her eyes.

Skin sagging: 2–3 mm

Skin thickness: relatively thin

Tear duct drainage is not uncomfortably blocked.

Chief concern: wants to improve the feeling of skin covering the inner corner of her eye. She is often told she looks blank or fierce because of it.

* Consultation

The excess skin covering the inner corner of the eye gives a slightly fierce impression, and eye-opening strength is also a bit lacking.

We initially wondered whether an incision might be necessary, but determined that a sufficient eyelid crease could be created with non-incision alone. This is likely possible because the skin is not particularly thick and the sagging is only 2–3 mm.

* Plan

Non-incision eye correction

Before surgery
6 weeks post-surgery

* Post-Surgery Progress

Since she had traveled quite a distance, she came in for her follow-up at 6 weeks post-surgery. Now that the skin droop at the inner corner and the ptosis have been corrected — doesn't she look much softer and more defined? :)
