The Principle of LipoSound
# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Since it liquefies fat particles—turning them from something like orange pulp into juice—it offers several benefits:
1. It is much smoother. Fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned through a very small cannula. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling, and significantly less ‘bio-bond’ (post-operative adhesions).
2. Because the ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is minimal skin sagging after the procedure, and you can achieve additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.
# You may experience some discomfort as bio-bonds form starting about two weeks after surgery. During this time, applying warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. We also provide injections to help soften these bonds during your one-month follow-up, so please keep that in mind!
