1. The skin beneath the eyes is extremely thin, making underlying blood vessels and pigmentation easily visible, which gives the area a dull and tired appearance.

2. Micro fat grafting under the eyes is a highly delicate procedure — you might call it a double-edged sword. When precisely the right amount is grafted, the results are excellent, as seen in this case. However, even a slight excess can cause problems such as palpable lumps forming under the eyes. In fact, even board-certified plastic surgeons in my professional circle hold varying opinions on under-eye micro fat grafting.
