Correcting a Crooked Nose While Improving Rhinitis Symptoms!!
A case study of a 20-year-old female patient who underwent functional rhinoplasty to correct a crooked nose, bulbous tip, and breathing difficulties caused by rhinitis.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Medical History: No specific findings (-)
* Diagnosis and Consultation
1. ‘Breathing is uncomfortable due to rhinitis ~ ㅠ’
2. ‘My biggest concerns are my bulbous nose tip and crooked nose!’
3. We planned to create a sophisticated straight-semi-out nose line along with functional rhinoplasty!
* Surgical Plan
1. Functional rhinoplasty (rhinitis surgery)
2. Correction of hump nose, bulbous tip, and crooked nose

* Post-operative Progress
1. The nasal septum was severely deviated, and the mucosal area called the inferior turbinate was hypertrophied. We corrected the deviated septum and improved the breathing aspect through inferior turbinate reduction.
2. While correcting the crooked nose, we achieved a natural straight-semi-out line from the bridge to the tip.
3. In cases where the septum is severely deviated, functional rhinoplasty can correct breathing discomfort. Catch two birds with one stone by addressing both aesthetic and functional aspects ^^
Consultations and surgeries should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
