Lower Blepharoplasty

A woman in her 50s with under-eye fat puffiness and mild skin sagging undergoes lower blepharoplasty via fat repositioning and skin excision for a smooth, youthful result.

Lower Blepharoplasty

* Basic Information

· Female in her 50s

· Under-eye fat: moderate puffiness

· Skin condition: slight sagging / skin thickness and elasticity are adequate

· Main concern: 'The fat under my eyes makes me look tired and older.'

* Consultation

· She is a woman in her 50s whose primary concerns are puffiness from under-eye fat and sagging skin.

· We will address this through fat repositioning and excision of the excess skin to achieve smooth, clean under-eyes.

· Her skin elasticity is relatively good, so the risk of ectropion (lower eyelid eversion) is low. That said, overly aggressive skin excision must always be avoided!

· She had significant concerns about scarring. Because the incision follows the lash line of the lower eyelid, it blends in as a natural-looking crease — please don't worry too much ~

* Plan

Lower Blepharoplasty

Before surgery
6 weeks post-op

* Post-operative Progress

· Fat repositioning has resolved the puffiness, and the under-eyes now look smooth and clean.

· You were very worried about scarring — but it is barely visible, right? It will continue to fade over time, so no need to worry :)

Consultations and surgery should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
