Rhinoplasty Revision (Deviated Nose, Drooping Tip)
A case study of a female patient in her 20s who underwent rhinoplasty revision to correct a deviated bridge and a drooping tip using donated rib cartilage.
* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# She underwent surgery with ear cartilage several years ago, but the nasal tip has since drooped. The bridge also appears deviated, and she wishes to have it corrected.
* Consultation
1. The patient visited the clinic because the implant appeared deviated over time and the nasal tip had drooped.
2. We planned to correct the drooping nasal tip and improve the deviation of the bridge.
3. Since ear cartilage had already been used, we decided to use donated rib cartilage for the revision.
* Surgical Plan
1. Bridge Rhinoplasty
- Correction of deviated nose (implant replacement)
2. Tip Rhinoplasty
- Septal extension graft
- Correction of drooping nasal tip
* Post-operative Progress
1. The post-operative results show a natural yet feminine, well-defined nasal tip.
2. As the nasal tip became more defined, the face looks more sophisticated and even smaller as an added bonus!
