Principles of LipoSound

# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Since it liquefies fat particles—similar to turning orange pulp into juice—it offers several advantages:

1. It is much smoother – fat can be expressed like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned out using only a small cannula. Consequently, there is much less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling. It also significantly reduces the occurrence of ‘Bio-bonds’ (post-operative adhesions).
