The Principles of Liposound

# ‘Liposound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Because it liquefies fat particles—turning them from something like orange pulp into juice—it offers several benefits:

1. It is much smoother. Fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned using only a small cannula. Consequently, there is less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling. This also results in significantly less ‘bio-bond’ (post-operative adhesions).
