Transformation of a Short and Bulbous Nose!
A case study of a 20-year-old female patient who achieved a refined, sleek nose profile through rhinoplasty, correcting a short, bulbous, and deviated tip.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Previously received filler and Hiko (thread lift) treatments but was dissatisfied with the results.
# The nose still appeared short, bulbous, and upturned.
* Consultation
# The patient visited the clinic seeking correction for a bulbous nose. While traditionally called a ‘lucky nose’ in Korea, many seek improvement because it can create a blunt or heavy impression.
# She was also stressed by her short nasal tip and the fact that her nostrils were overly visible due to a deviated tip.
# We determined that refining the nasal tip while raising and smoothing the bridge line would produce a satisfying nasal profile.
* Surgical Plan
# Dissolving existing filler and removing foreign substances (Hiko threads)
# Nasal tip surgery (Correction of bulbous, short, and deviated nose)
# Bridge rhinoplasty (Implant)

* Post-operative Progress
# The patient wanted to move away from a round, cute look toward a more defined, sleek, and straight nasal line. I am pleased that the desired shape harmonizes so well with her overall facial features.
# For this type of nasal structure, it is difficult to achieve satisfying results through filler and Hiko treatments alone.
# This was a very rewarding case where correcting the short and bulbous nose significantly enhanced the sophistication of her entire facial image!
