1. Implants are not highly recommended these days due to risks such as infection, inflammation, scarring, and sensory loss.
2. Fillers have the advantage of not requiring fat harvesting or over-correction, but they have a limited lifespan and may diminish over time. Additionally, they can sometimes appear lumpy depending on the case.
3. Fat grafting involves some absorption, so we over-correct slightly to achieve the desired effect. Consequently, bruising and swelling may be more pronounced immediately after surgery. However, once the autologous fat takes hold, it lasts semi-permanently without major issues. Furthermore, fat grafting can result in a more radiant and brighter skin tone, leading to excellent results :)
