Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery (Revision)
A case study of a male teenager who underwent revision incisional double eyelid surgery to correct asymmetry and achieve a more defined look after a previous subtle result.

* Basic Information
· Male in his teens
· History of incisional ptosis correction approximately 1 year ago (+)
· Primary Complaint: ‘I had ptosis correction, but it looks too natural, so there is no significant difference from before surgery... I also want to fix my asymmetrical eyes.’
* Consultation
1. Although his eye-opening strength has improved compared to before the initial incisional ptosis correction, he feels no visible enlargement effect because the result is too subtle.
2. He is also concerned about left-right asymmetry and wishes to resolve it simultaneously.
3. When designing the line with a probe, there was significant sagging skin, and because the skin is on the thicker side, there is a high possibility of the fold loosening quickly. We planned to firmly secure the line through revision incisional double eyelid surgery.

Incisional Double Eyelid Surgery (Revision)

* Post-operative Progress
1. Many male patients worry that having double eyelids will make their impression look too ‘greasy’ or heavy, so they often request the thinnest line possible.
2. However, if the line is made too thin, the difference between before and after is minimal, leading to low satisfaction and often resulting in another revision to raise the line height.
3. It is helpful to note that creating a ‘hidden’ double eyelid that is slightly visible immediately after surgery results in longer-lasting effects and higher satisfaction.
4. Through the revision surgery, the eyes have become larger, appearing more sophisticated and refreshed. Once the swelling subsides further, we expect a natural line that is not burdensome.
