The Line from Forehead to Nose is Crucial, Isn’t It?!
A case study of a 20-year-old female patient who achieved a refined look through hump correction, long nose correction, and forehead fat grafting without implants.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Unevenness caused by a dorsal hump
# A nose tip that appears long, extending from a flat forehead
* Consultation
1. The patient wanted to improve the uneven side profile caused by a hump and the drooping nose tip that made the nose look excessively long. A nose tip that drops significantly when smiling is a major factor that can make one look older.
2. Due to a flat forehead, the line transitioned bluntly into the nose, making the overall face appear longer. To overcome this disadvantage, we planned a forehead fat grafting procedure alongside the rhinoplasty.
3. Since the bridge of the nose was not naturally low, we planned the surgery using the ‘no-implant’ method.
* Surgical Plan
1. Rhinoplasty (Bridge)
- Hump correction
- Osteotomy
- No-implant
2. Tip-plasty
- Long nose & nasolabial angle correction
3. Forehead Fat Grafting

* Post-operative Progress
1. In the post-operative results, the nose tip has become naturally sharp and defined without excessive nostril exposure.
2. The nose tip, which looked slightly long before surgery, has been corrected to create a sophisticated and refined shape.
3. By smoothing the hump, a natural nose line can be achieved without the use of implants if the bridge is already sufficiently high.
4. If the forehead lacks volume, the line leading to the bridge can make the face look longer. In such cases, creating volume through forehead fat grafting helps achieve a much more natural and ideally proportioned nose shape.
