Fixing ‘Sausage Eyes’: A Third Revision Eyelid Surgery Success Story
A 30-year-old female successfully corrected thick sausage eyelids and asymmetry through a third revision surgery using the double-line excision technique.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 30s
# Medical History: Non-incisional ptosis correction (performed twice previously)
# Patient Concerns: Wants to correct thick, ‘sausage-like’ double eyelids and asymmetry. Also wishes to address the hollow appearance of the upper eyelids.
* Consultation
# The primary concerns are weak eye-opening strength and double eyelids that fold thickly like sausages.
# Due to a lack of excess skin, we planned to lower the line using the ‘double-line excision’ (du-jul-tta-gi) technique to correct the sausage appearance. Additionally, ptosis correction was planned to improve eye-opening strength for a clearer, more defined look.
# Upper eyelid hollowness was addressed through fat repositioning.
* Surgical Plan
# Incisional Ptosis Correction (3rd Revision Surgery)
- Double-line excision, sausage eyelid correction
- Upper eyelid fat repositioning

* Post-operative Progress
# By correcting the sausage effect and performing ptosis correction, a clear and refreshing eyelid line was achieved.
# Through the double-line excision method, we strived to make the eyes look as natural as possible, as if it were the very first surgery.
# The patient was most concerned about left-right asymmetry and desired an ‘in-out’ line. We focused on creating the most natural symmetry possible!
