Non-Incisional Double Chin Liposuction
A case study of a 20-year-old female who achieved a sharp jawline using ultrasonic LipoSound liposuction to remove stubborn double chin fat.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Stubborn double chin fat that persists despite consistent dieting
* Consultation
# By using ultrasound, subcutaneous fat can be broken down into fine particles. (Think of it as turning ‘orange pulp’ into ‘orange juice.’) This allows the fat to be squeezed out through tiny openings or removed using a very small cannula, making the extraction highly effective.

* Plan
# Ultrasonic Liposuction (Double Chin & Jawline)

* Post-operative Progress
# The blunt, heavy look is gone thanks to the jawline and double chin liposuction!

The Principle of LipoSound
# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Since it liquefies fat particles—like turning orange pulp into juice—it offers several advantages:
1. It is much smoother. Fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned using a very small cannula. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling, and significantly less ‘bio-bond’ (post-operative adhesions).
2. Because ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, and you can achieve additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.
# You may experience some discomfort as bio-bonds begin to form around two weeks after surgery. In such cases, warm compresses and stretching can help them resolve faster. Please note that we also provide injections to help soften these bonds during your one-month follow-up appointment!
Consultations and surgeries should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
