Bulbous Nose Rhinoplasty
A case study of a 20-year-old woman who achieved a sophisticated look through bulbous nose correction and bridge augmentation using silicone and septal cartilage.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 20s
# Goal: To improve a low nasal bridge and a blunt, bulbous nose tip.
* Consultation
# The patient desired improvement for her low bridge and blunt tip.
# Pre-operative CT scans showed a straight septum of sufficient size. We decided to raise the tip using a septal extension graft and augment the bridge using a silicone implant.
# Since she preferred a glamorous look and it suited her overall vibe, we decided to raise the nasal line as much as possible!
* Surgical Plan
# Bridge Rhinoplasty (Silicone implant, Osteotomy)
# Tip Rhinoplasty (Bulbous nose correction, Septal extension graft)

* Post-operative Progress
# There are several types of bulbous noses: 1. Thick skin 2. Thick soft tissue (subcutaneous fat, etc.) 3. Splayed or wide cartilage. Since these factors usually occur in combination, it is best to correct each element appropriately. We sculpted the skin and soft tissue to be thinner and refined the cartilage to create a sleek, defined shape.
# We achieved the ideal tip angle using septal cartilage and ear cartilage.
# With the bulbous nose corrected and the nasal line defined, her overall impression has transformed into a more sophisticated look!
