A. Fat

B. Muscle

In some cases, the platysma muscle itself is sagging. This can be congenital or a result of the natural aging process. In such cases, the muscle must be tightened firmly, like wearing a ‘corset’, to create a tight line! This procedure is commonly called ‘double chin muscle tying’. Since this method has long been used in neck lifts, it is a proven and safe technique.
