The Best Time for Plastic Surgery, According to VIBE Plastic Surgery!

Hello.

This is VIBE Plastic Surgery.

When is actually the best time to have plastic surgery?

Everyone has probably thought about this question at least once.

Today, I will share the best times to have surgery and the times it is better to avoid, from the perspective of a board-certified plastic surgeon.

Spring? Summer? When is the best time?

To start with, the season does not matter.

Personally, I recommend scheduling your surgery during a period when the clinic is relatively quiet.

Generally, people choose to have surgery during school breaks or vacation seasons.

Because there are many visitors during these times, wait times can be longer and the staff may be less attentive despite their best efforts.

Does surgery in the summer increase the risk of side effects?

NO!

Even if you have surgery in the winter, if you drink, smoke, or fail to maintain personal hygiene after the procedure, inflammation and side effects can occur.

Also, for those who naturally sweat a lot, it is important to manage the surgical site so that sweat does not enter it.

However, for surgeries that do not involve external incisions—such as under-eye fat repositioning where the incision is made inside the eye—sweat is not a major concern.

As such, you can proceed with surgery according to your own schedule, regardless of the season.

Morning? Afternoon? What is the best time of day for surgery?

The time of day also makes no significant difference.

However, the condition of the surgeon performing the procedure is very important.

If a surgery is performed when the surgeon’s condition is not well-managed, the risks inevitably increase.

As with any surgery, the key is how well the doctor maintains their own condition at its peak.

How do you usually manage yourself, Doctor?
Q: I heard you have a specific morning routine? A: I always walk lightly for about 30 minutes and stretch every morning before coming to work.

Just walking in the morning can make me feel refreshed.

Stretching while walking helps loosen up a stiff body, allowing me to start the first surgery of the day in a more refreshed and light physical state.

I try to follow this routine every single day.

There isn’t a particularly special self-care method beyond this.

However, I generally avoid making social appointments during the week to manage my condition.

When is the best time to have plastic surgery?

The most important thing is to consider not just the day of the surgery, but the period after the surgery as well.

No matter how minor the surgery may be, you need to rest for about a week starting from the day of the procedure.

Not only is there a lot of tension before and after surgery, but if an incision was made, there will be a wound. Therefore, recovering your condition and allowing your body to heal is a very important part of the process.

Thus, I can say that the best time for plastic surgery is when you have sufficient time to spare for recovery after the procedure.
