The Principles of LipoSound
# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. It liquefies fat particles—which are normally like orange pulp—into a juice-like state.
1. It is much smoother – fat can be squeezed out like water without applying great force, and it can be suctioned through a small cannula. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling, and significantly less ‘Bio-bond’ (post-operative adhesions).
2. Because the ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, providing additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.
# About two weeks after surgery, you may experience some discomfort as Bio-bond forms. During this time, applying warm compresses and stretching will help it resolve faster. We also provide injections to help soften the area during the one-month follow-up, so please keep that in mind!
