# There are several types of bulbous noses: 1. Thick skin, 2. Thick soft tissue (subcutaneous fat, etc.), 3. Wide and splayed cartilage. Since these factors usually occur in combination, it is best to correct each factor appropriately. We sculpted the skin and soft tissue to be thinner and reshaped the cartilage to create a sharp, defined look.

# We achieved the ideal tip angle. The nasolabial angle must be well-defined for the tip to look sharp and elevated. The importance of the nasolabial angle cannot be overemphasized! We also ensured the columella was not overly flat or ‘cut-off’ looking, but rather had a natural, rounded feel.

# With the bulbous nose corrected, the patient’s overall impression has become much more sophisticated! I am glad the desired nose shape harmonizes so well with her entire face. ^^
