The Principles of LipoSound
# ‘LipoSound’ is a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Since it liquefies fat particles—turning them from something like orange pulp into juice—it offers several benefits:
1. Much smoother process: Fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned using a very small cannula. This results in less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling, and significantly less ‘bio-bond’ (post-operative adhesions).
2. Because ultrasound is emitted beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, and additional skin elasticity and tightening effects can be achieved.
# You may experience some discomfort as bio-bonds form starting about two weeks after surgery. In such cases, applying warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. Please note that we also provide injections to help dissolve these bonds during the one-month follow-up!
# If sagging is expected after liposuction, we recommend a concurrent thread lift. If you desire a dramatic transformation like the case above, a thread lift is highly recommended!
# There are large salivary glands located under the ears. If these glands are overdeveloped, Botox is very effective at reducing their size, so keep that in mind!
