The Principles of LipoSound

# You can think of ‘LipoSound’ as a device that uses ultrasound to emulsify fat. Because it liquefies fat particles—which are normally like orange pulp—into a juice-like consistency:

1. It is much smoother – fat can be squeezed out like water without applying significant force, and it can be suctioned through a very small cannula. Consequently, there is much less irritation, leading to faster recovery from bruising and swelling. This also results in significantly less ‘bio-bond’ (post-operative adhesions).
2. Since the ultrasound is emitted directly beneath the dermis, there is less skin sagging after the procedure, and you can achieve additional skin elasticity and tightening effects.

# About two weeks after surgery, you may experience some discomfort as bio-bonds begin to form. During this time, applying warm compresses and stretching will help them resolve faster. Please note that we also provide injections to help soften these bonds during your one-month follow-up appointment!
