[Precautions After Eye and Nose Surgery]
- Take your prescribed medications (antibiotics, digestive aids, anti-inflammatories, and swelling reduction medicine) and apply eye ointment and drops as directed.
- Apply cold compresses for the first 3 days after surgery / switch to warm compresses thereafter!!
- Avoid blowing your nose for at least one week after rhinoplasty.
- When applying compresses, do not place them directly on the nose; apply them to the surrounding areas and under the eyes instead.
- Refrain from wearing glasses for about one month after nose surgery.
- Keep your head elevated while sleeping, and taking light walks will help reduce swelling.
