Endoscopic Forehead Lift and Lower Blepharoplasty Revision
A case study of a female patient in her 60s who underwent an endoscopic forehead lift and lower blepharoplasty revision to address sagging skin and wrinkles.

* Basic Information
# Female in her 60s
# Medical History: Upper and lower blepharoplasty several decades ago
# Current Condition
- Due to sagging skin around the eyes, sweat accumulates during summer, causing significant skin irritation.
- Wrinkles on the bridge of the nose and around the eyes make her impression look harsh and stifled.
* Consultation
# She visited the clinic stating that ‘sagging skin around the eyes and a harsh impression’ were her primary concerns.
# Since the sagging of the eyebrows themselves made the wrinkles on the bridge of the nose and around the eyes appear deeper, an ‘Endoscopic Forehead Lift’ was planned and performed.
# Additionally, the lower eyelid area operated on decades ago appeared bulging again, so we decided to proceed with a revision surgery.
* Plan
# Endoscopic Forehead Lift (Endotine)
# Lower Blepharoplasty Revision

* Post-operative Progress
# The sagging around the eyes has been resolved, making it much easier to open her eyes, and she is satisfied that uncomfortable symptoms like soreness have disappeared.
# Wrinkles on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes were smoothed out together, making her look younger and more beautiful as an added bonus!
# In the case of lower blepharoplasty revision, the most important thing to watch out for is ‘ectropion,’ where the eyelid turns outward. This can be prevented through firm periosteal fixation to ensure the eyelid does not flip.
Consultations and surgeries should be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon!
