A woman in her 50s visited our clinic for double eyelid revision surgery.
She had undergone eye surgery twice previously at other hospitals, and after the surgeries, her double eyelids were too high and unnatural, making them very noticeable, which she found unsatisfactory. During the surgery, as expected, there was significant scar tissue from the previous operations. It was challenging to locate the levator muscle, but we were able to find it carefully. We then adjusted the line to achieve the most natural eye shape possible, while correcting any asymmetry.
Ultimately, we confirmed a satisfactory result visually and concluded the surgery.
Despite severe scar tissue and difficulty finding the levator muscle, the surgery proceeded smoothly. After sufficient recovery, she will likely find it easier to open her eyes, and her overall impression will appear much softer.
