Pre-Surgery History / Desired Image

This patient had a history of a broken nasal bone due to a past trauma, resulting in a crooked nose line and breathing problems.

Additionally, they had long been concerned about their overall rounded and blunt bulbous nose, which gave them a stuffy impression.

The patient particularly wanted to improve the bluntness of their nasal tip,

and rather than specifying a detailed desired line, they preferred to trust and rely on the expert's recommended design.

Surgical Plan

Overall, the nasal skin thickness was not thick, and when viewed from the front, the nostrils appeared to flare outwards.

Considering these characteristics, along with a bulbous nose and a hump on the nasal bridge, a nose surgery plan was designed for a semi-surgical line.

Nasal Tip: 5~6mm, Nasal Bridge: 2~3mm

Columella correction + Bulbous nose correction + Crooked nose correction + Columella lowering + Nostril lowering

Step-by-Step Changes After Nose Surgery

2 Days Post-Surgery

The patient visited for treatment (disinfection) and removal of cotton packing.

There was almost no significant bleeding or bruising, and we recommended cold compresses for swelling management in the initial stages.

7 Days Post-Surgery

Sutures and the splint were removed simultaneously.

At this stage, combining professional swelling management, such as laser and injections, helps accelerate the recovery process.

1 Month Post-Surgery

Most of the major swelling had subsided, and the patient entered a stable period, allowing for makeup and daily activities.

However, some residual swelling may remain, so consistent care is necessary.

Post-Surgery Result Changes

The patient, who had experienced uncomfortable breathing due to a broken nose before surgery,

now feels much more comfortable as their breathing function has improved after surgery.

Aesthetically, both the side and front views show enhanced three-dimensionality,

and the blunt nasal tip, which was the biggest concern from the front, has transformed into a more slender and sophisticated line.
