5-Month Update: Inframammary Incision Breast Augmentation

For over 40 years, I lived as if I had no breasts.

Now, I sometimes wonder when I had the surgery… and I'm living as if I've always had breasts.

It feels like a distant past when I had the surgery, but it's only been 5 months.

When you look at a day from its peak, time seems to pass slowly, but looking back, so much time has already gone by.

I had Mentor Smooth Moderate implants, 250cc on each side, placed via an inframammary incision by Dr. Lee Jae-soo at N.S.T. Plastic Surgery.

Only 5 months have passed, but now I've forgotten I even had surgery; they feel like my own breasts.

Last weekend, I had to go to Sinnonhyeon Station, so I went for a follow-up at N.S.T.

Dr. Lee Jae-soo, my 'medical father', smiled broadly and said the progress was excellent.

He mentioned that the capsule formed thinly and well, so the touch would be good.

However, because it's so thin, the implant might shift its position…

He advised me to support the area below the inframammary fold during the day and hold my side breasts at night until 6-7 months post-op.

These days, I sometimes wear a bralette during the day and a V-fit bra at night.

Since my hospital visit, I've just been wearing the V-fit bra continuously.

The touch isn't as soft and squishy as I initially imagined, but I can see it gradually becoming softer and more pliable.

And since my 'medical father' said it would get even better, I'll just have to persevere, as I have been, haha.

These are my breasts and inframammary incision scars at the 5-month mark.

I'm in my 40s, and I'm not particularly concerned about scars.

Even now, they're barely visible to the naked eye, but if I take a close-up shot, you can see it's an incision mark.

However, if you look from a slight distance, no one can tell, so if there are people who are hesitant about surgery because of scars, I don't think you need to be.

Also, the hospital manages the scars incredibly well to prevent them from remaining.

N.S.T. was famous as the 'toast bread hospital' (식빵병원), and there was a reason for the 'toast bread' shape in the beginning. If you endure that 'toast bread' phase well for about 7 weeks,

not only will the shape become beautiful, but the touch will become even softer than your natural breasts.

Another reason I recommend N.S.T. is that their surgery time is incredibly, incredibly short.

It might be because the director performs many surgeries and is very skilled,

but it's a fact that shorter surgery times lead to shorter recovery periods and less bruising or swelling after surgery. (I saw this on TV, searched online, and even looked up academic papers; they all say shorter surgery times are better.)

So, thinking that my 'medical father' at N.S.T. keeps surgery times short, it's impressive even after the surgery.

The breast shape changes daily up to 7 weeks, but from two to three months onwards, the breast shape doesn't change dramatically and seems to settle naturally.
